“Salmon from Chile” goes out to conquer Brazil
Brazil has all the characteristics needed to become a very interesting market for Chilean salmon. It is geographically near Chile, it has a large colony of Japanese immigrants, who are big consumers, and Brazilians are increasingly accepting this product.
Thus, with the support of ProChile, the local salmon industry is betting strongly on increasing its share of that market. It has launched a campaign with promising short and especially medium-term results.
